Calling all high-school-aged poets
To celebrate National Poetry Month, Nine Mile Magazine is opening up submissions beginning the month of April to all high-school-aged poets for potential publication in our special Fall 2026 High School Poetry issue. All poets age 14-19 are invited to submit during the month of April up until August 31st.
You are invited to submit 3-5 poems in a single Word or text document for consideration. No PDFs, please. Please submit through Submittable: https://ninemileartscorp.submittable.com/submit
If your work is accepted, we will ask for a brief biographical note to introduce you to our readers.
We try to read and respond to all submissions within three months. If you don't hear from us in six months, please reach out to us at ninemilemag@gmail.com.
